Creating a personal handwritten signature digitally allows you to add authenticity to cards, invitations, certificates, and professional documents — without signing manually each time. In this guide, you'll learn how to design your signature using the Concepts app on a tablet and write it automatically using the UUNA TEK iAuto Signature Machine. From building your signature in SVG format to aligning it perfectly on real paper, this step-by-step tutorial ensures accurate, natural-looking handwriting every time.
In this step-by-step tutorial, you will learn how to:
- Create a realistic signature using an iPad/tablet + Concepts app
 - Export it properly as an SVG
 - Import and position it accurately in UUNA TEK for iAuto software
 - Automatically write your signature in the correct place on physical cards or documents

Let’s get started!
Tools You'll Need

- Tablet or iPad
 - Capacitive stylus/pen
 - Concepts app
 - Computer with UUNA TEK for iAuto installed
 - Your UUNA TEK iAuto machine

Step 1: Create Your Signature in the Concepts App
1: Open Concepts
Open Concepts on your tablet. The app will automatically present a blank canvas.

2: Select "Wire" Tool
Since we are only creating a handwritten signature, choose the Wire tool for clean, natural pen strokes.

3: Set Pen Tip Thickness
Adjust the pen thickness to match your handwriting style.
Tip: Slightly thinner lines look more natural for signatures.

4: Adjust Line Smoothness
Modify the stroke smoothness setting.
Recommended: Keep it within 10% to maintain natural handwriting curves without distortion.

5: Write Your Signature
Write your signature using the capacitive pen. Take your time — natural strokes lead to better results.

Step 2: Export Signature as SVG
1: Export the File
Tap Export in the top-right corner and choose SVG format.
SVG ensures the signature does not lose quality when resized.

2: Save & Transfer
Save the file locally, then copy it to your computer for use in UUNA TEK for iAuto.

Step 3: Import and Calibrate in UUNA TEK for iAuto
1: Open the Software
Launch UUNA TEK for iAuto.
2: Calibrate the Pen Tip
To place your signature perfectly, you must calibrate the pen tip.

Step 4: Prepare Your Document Template
1: Measure Your Paper
Measure the card or document size.
Example:
Length: 101.5 mm
Height: 152.3 mm

2: Take a Photo — Keep It Straight
Photograph the card directly above, without tilting.
Crooked photos will shift signature placement.

3: Crop the Image
Use your phone or software to crop only the card, avoiding extra borders.
Do not over-crop.

4: Create Paper in iAuto
In the UUNA TEK software, create a new paper template matching your real-world dimensions.

5: Import the Cropped Image
Open the cropped card image inside UUNA TEK.

Step 5: Position & Scale Your Signature
1: Add Your Signature File
Import the SVG signature and place it where you want it printed.

2: Adjust Size & Shape
Since signature sizes can vary, resize and proportion it as needed.
It’s normal if slight adjustments are required.

3: Preview and Confirm Paper Size
In the paper settings panel, switch paper size briefly, then return to the correct one — this resets alignment.

4: Final Position & Write
Rotate and move the signature into final position.
Place your real paper in the correct orientation — then start writing.

Finished!
